Section 01

A warm roof,
layer by layer.

Scroll to take it apart. This is the specification we install most often, and the sequence every one of these buildings goes together in.

01 Structural deck

Metal or concrete. Sets the falls and carries everything above it.

02 Vapour control layer

Keeps warm moist air out of the insulation, which is what makes it a warm roof.

03 Thermal insulation

Depth set by the U-value the building has to hit under current Part L.

04 Single ply membrane

Hot-air welded seams. The waterproofing line, continuous across the whole roof.

05 Standing seam finish

Zinc or aluminium, mechanically seamed. No fixings through the weather line.

We hold all of these in-house, so a full envelope package stays with one contractor and one programme instead of three.

Section 04

The paperwork,
before the scaffold.

Insurance: £10 million public and employers' liability cover.
Safety: All works to HSE guidelines, with full risk assessments and method statements issued per project.
Operatives: CSCS certified and CITB Construction Skills Health & Safety tested. Safe2Torch trained.
Clients: Framework and project work for Leicester City Council and Hinckley Council.
